Learn to Integrate Evidence-Based Courses into Your Paramedic Program
On May 29, top NAEMT faculty conducted a preconference workshop on Integrating Evidence-Based Courses into Your Paramedic Program. Advanced EMT and paramedic program directors learned to leverage continuing education curricula to enhance initial education and meet paramedic competency requirements.
NAEMT educators helped to identify which NAEMT course curricula meet paramedic competency requirements and discuss integrating case studies and patient simulations into advanced EMT and paramedic initial education. Throughout the session, there was an opportunity to discuss best practices with program directors who have successfully incorporated NAEMT curricula into paramedic education programs.
